The Old School has embarked on a day's CPD training on creating animation to engage young learners in schools.

They worked with local film makers to increase the competence level of teaching staff and hope to engage with other schools in organising a film screening.

Pupils in year 6 have already completed work on one animated feature, starring a character of their own creation, a superhero called 'Pizza Dave'. Staff and pupils are very much looking forward to implementing their newfound skills.
